Kyo Chon Chicken

18 May 2009 Posted by dp 2 Comments

Although the ‘Kyo Chon’ brand is heavily hyped and loved by many…
I must say there is some room for improvement.

I found that the smaller pieces were dry and had little substance
whereas the larger pieces were more juicy and meaty.

One possible solution to this would be to offer, on the side, the special garlic soy sauce only Kyo Chon seems to offer.

On the other hand, I must say I enjoyed the ‘Chicken Dduk Bboki’ even though it was spicier than I would have liked it to be as well as the Chicken Fried Rice.  They should rename it to be called Chicken Curry Fried Rice since I could taste a strong hint of curry flavoring…

Bottom line?

The food was decent, pricing was fair, service was a plus…  give me more garlic soy sauce.

You have to eat the chicken with the “moo” (white beet) - makes it even more delicious! But they recently started charging for the “moo”.
